Rebecca and her younger sister arrived at the orphanage as toddlers, just 3 years and 6 months old. Now 14 and 11, Rebecca shares her perspective: 'I like being at the orphanage because if I weren’t here, I’d be out on the street begging.'

Rebecca’s dream is to become a chef, creating her own signature dishes while supporting her younger sister. Unfortunately, there’s no culinary school in her hometown of Tagaytay City, so she would need to travel to Manila to pursue her passion.
